Waterline Systems, provider of custom bottom and topside finishes, offers complete yard services from its waterfront facility in the Melville Marina District.

As the exclusive provider of Waterline System Finishes, and a service shop for J/Boats, Alerion, Pearson Yachts, True North, Farr40, ID35, and Farr 30 (just to name a few!), Waterline Systems offers quality repair work at competitive prices, and will return any boat to like-new condition.

World Championship quality work

Most people recognize Waterline Systems as the preferred "speed-shop" for World Championship level one-design teams. That's true, we have prepped more World Champs than any shop in the world.

Waterline Systems aims high. Our staff is selected, trained and has the mind-set that winning is the goal. When your daily goal is perfecting world champs, you develop good habits.

We probably work on more club racers, powerboats and well-loved cruisers and daysailors than full on race boats each year. Even if you are not be aiming at winning the Farr 40 worlds, doesn't your boat deserve that level of attention?

Spring and Fall

Bring your boat to Waterline Systems in the Fall for a complete de-commissioning, maintenance, service, and storage.

A Waterline Systems specialist will complete a comprehensive maintenance evaluation and create a work list for the off-season. Leave your boat with us for the winter; we’ll haul it, complete any needed work, and store it.

So that you don’t miss a day on the water, in the Spring, we’ll launch and commission the boat for you so it’s ready for a hassle-free season. If maintenance is needed during the Summer, bring it back to Waterline Systems and we’ll get you back on the water as quickly as possible.

Huge Repairs or minor touch-ups

Over the years, industry insiders have come to rely on Waterline Systems for "impossible" repairs. Our guys have completely re-cored 40 footers and fixed holes you can easily walk through. The finished boats go on and win races. When the job seems impossible, the industry pros know who to call and get it done.

Again, it's more fun to point at the huge projects, but in reality, there are many more gelcoat scratches and buff-outs than spectacular rebuilds. Here again, you want the guys who can do the big job to do your little job!
