It was during this time that Randy along with two partners (Tim Murray & Kevin Hudner) formed “Waterline Systems” as a hobby shop! Randy, Tim and Kevin all had fulltime jobs throughout the sailing industry. Several years later Tim and Kevin moved on and Randy was faced with the decision that ultimately resulted in WLS taking the step to becoming his fulltime occupation. From its inception Waterline Systems focused on One Design optimization.
The success of the J/22 and J/24 classes provided many opportunities for WLS to showcase their work. With successes in those classes WLS was well positioned to expand their services to the J/105, Farr 30, and Farr 40 classes.
Today WLS provides “World Class” Service to Grand-Prix and One Design customers from around the World. In addition Randy established Waterline Systems as the licensed builder of the J/22, J/24, J/80, J/105, Farr 30 and Farr 40 One Designs. |
