The Ker 11.5 is coming along nicely. This is a very, very cool boat. Doug Brophy of New Wave Yachts is in charge, you can reach him @ doug@newwaveyachts.com
There is a good Seahorse article about the project
Right now, the shop is insane! Everyone is working late, on Saturdays and even some Sundays. The travellift is booked solid and we can't keep up with the phones.
This too shall pass. By the end of June, even the stragglers will be in the water. We seed Narraganset Bay, Buzzards Bay and Fischer Island Sound with huge rocks which bring a steady trade, but really, we're kind of slow in the summer.
Supply and demand being what it is, we are offering a 10% discount on Bottom jobs and Painting jobs performed at the shop in July and August!
Many of you take family vacations in the summer and your boat just sits there, sad and alone. You are probably sending Fido off to some fancy dog-resort, why not send the boat to Dunes?
You'll return home to a rested and refreshed boat ready for the major late summer and fall regattas. Plus, you'll save a nice bit of cash.
Waterline Systems is now authorized to sell the J/22 and J/24 directly to the customer. This is really good news for you. We treat each J/22 and J/24 we build as a semi-custom project. Getting the boatbuilders and the sailors in direct contact helps assure that the finished boat exactly meets the buyers needs and expectations.
Regatta Sponsorship
Waterline Systems is commited to supporting the classes we build. Sponsoring Regattas is a big part of that support. If you would like us to support your regatta, please
Waterline Systems puts out a monthlyish newsletter. Sure, just what you need.. boatshop spam. Occasionally though, there is actual information in it. Plus, it is really easy to delete!
All you need to do is type your email address in the box and click the button!
